New Zealand Olive Oil Awards – Our reflections on a special night

The New Zealand Olive Oil Awards on 11 October 2025 was a real highlight of our year. It’s always a great chance to celebrate olive oil and catch up with growers from around New Zealand and this year was no different.

Our Olive Oil Winners

We were thrilled to receive Best in Class for our Chilli Olive Oil. This oil is made with locally grown Nelson chillies, pressed straight with the olive fruit to give a smooth, vibrant heat that still lets the fresh olive flavours shine. Perfect as a finishing drizzle, adding a delicious spice that instantly takes a dish up a notch, it’s quickly become a favourite for anyone who likes warmth and spice flavour.

We are proud to also receive Silver Medals for our Lemon Olive Oil, Lime Olive Oil, and all of our other entries. Our oils are made with care and a lot of hard work. From pruning the trees, looking after the grove, harvesting at the right time, and pressing carefully to keep all the flavours fresh. These medals are a nice way to see all that effort pay off and show the love we put into every bottle.

Appreciation of our community

One of the things we like most about the awards is catching up with other growers after harvest. It’s a chance to share ideas, collaborate and hear how everyone’s season went. Those conversations remind us how supportive the New Zealand olive-growing community is.

We’re so grateful for the support of our customers, friends, family and other growers. Your enthusiasm keeps us going every season, and we can’t wait to keep producing oils that showcase the best of our region.
